Nayla is a courtesy post for a friend. Nayla is about 5 years old. She was rescued 4 years ago when her owner who was breeding her could not afford the emergency hysterectomy when she was unable to have the puppies. She had one puppy then the owner waited 3 days to take her to the vet to get the rest out! One puppy was dead in the birth canal. Nayla was dying from gangrene of the uterus. She was lying on the table, bleeding and in pain from being induced. She just laid her big head in her saviors hand and looked at her with beautiful, sad brown eyes. So she made a deal with Naylas owner. She would pay for her surgery to save her life, but then she, her one surviving puppy, and the daddy all had to go home with her. Nayla was placed with a friend where she stayed for the next 3 years. She did well with the children but was very dominant and didnt get along with the other dogs. Then, her owner had to move into an apartment out of state and returned Nayla. Nayla was placed again and she was wonderful with the 4 yr old and 6 yr old children and with grandmother. However, the neighbor tried to kill her (got on a lawn mower and chased her with a baseball bat) because he does not like her breed. So she is back. She is up to date on vaccines. She has been to obedience school, and is house trained. She is strong willed and will pull hard on her leash if she sees something she wants. She does great with invisible fence. She loves to hunt-birds, snakes, anything that moves. She will be a wonderful addition to any family with no other animals. Nayla deserves her forever home.
