Description

I have some birds to sell. All have hatched at some point this year.

(1) Silver Welsh Harlequin Drake - $15
I think he hatched in April. He's a beautiful bird that gets along great with my other drake and the girls. He'd be a nice addition to anyone's flock. This breed of bird is known to produce up to 350 eggs per year and range in live weight from 4 lbs to 5 1/2 lbs.

(1) Crested Pekin Hen - $10
This girl hatched mid-August. She is fully feathered, but still about half the size of a regular pekin. Both of her parents carried the crested gene, so the fact she made it is a miracle and she's going strong now. She's really cute with a nice big crest. Pekins are typically meat birds, although my other pekin hen gives me an egg a day. They're the first to greet you and the most "talkative." A great breed for starting out.

(9) Easter Egger Chicks - $4/each
These babies hatched 9-24. They are getting feathers now. Some of them have been handled a lot so they are pretty calm. They come from great stock. Pictures of the parents can be seen at www.dollhousefarms.com This is where the eggs that I hatched came from. Easter Eggers (or sometimes called Ameraucana) are known for their large green, blue, or pink-tinted eggs. They come in lots of colors!! They can range from 5-7 lbs live weight. They are a friendly, easy going breed of chicken. A must for any farm.

(2) Pekin Ducklings - $5/each
These little ones hatched 10-6. They are your typical yellow pekin baby. I think they're just adorable. They've been started on food and water and are thriving!

(1) Pekin x Rouen Duckling - $5
This little guy is so cute! It looks like a typical rouen duckling, except that the parts that are brown on a rouen are black on this guy and the yellow is much brighter on him. (I say him loosely. I haven't sexed it yet.) I'm not sure what he'll look like or how big he'll get. He is a mix between to large duck breeds.

Welsh Harlequin Ducklings - $7/each
I have no idea how many are going to hatch. I have three fully hatched right now and 3 or 4 more that you can actually see in the egg. I also have some that have pipped. There are 10 eggs set total so I'm not sure how many more are going to pop. They are so cute! They're little yellow ducklings that look like the got grease on their heads. They will be silver welsh harlequins.

I can try to sex the birds for you, but I will not guarantee the sexes. They're young so it's hard to tell.
